It is widely viewed that the origins of fears and phobias reside in our past experiences. By letting go of past trigger events, we can resolve our fears. Common fears that sit in the subconscious realm of thought, blocking our connection to our true or higher self include include:- the fear of heights, water, poverty, spiders, birds, exams and the fear public speaking or performance (such as acting or music). These are just a few examples of the rich tapestry (labels) of fears that are officially recognised by the psychology industry. Regardless of your noted fear label, the chances are your fear(s) will have its roots in a past experience or a more accumulative set of experiences.
However fear is also a general part of the Hyman psyche. How we term fear is reliant on the emotional scale of the experience. For example fear can keep you safe with little emotional impact throughout the day. Whilst this maybe viewed as functional to a healthy human experience. Fear based motivation throughout the day is becoming less appealing to the spiritually, psychically aware types. More and more people are less drawn to the “problem reaction solution” type strategies that may blight everyday existence. Feeling dissatisfied with the grind of life, leading to a fear of paying the bills or fitting in with the consensus. All of these kinds of feelings that arise from fundamental fear. A common belief is that a physical action or circumstance change, is required to resolve such fears. Let’s call it stress!
So we can start to see the relationship of fear to stress type behaviours and how they maybe having an effect on your overall sense of well being.
It does not have to be this way a larger percentage of the time.
Whether you have a labelled fear or phobia or want to reduce day to day fears. You can do so by learning to let go of the past. Some people can even relate to fears residing in a past lives filtering out into everyday life. No matter what your belief or experience it is possible to let go of traumatic experiences and live more often without the feeling of a threat just around the corner. By doing so your thoughts will become more positive and you will find yourself able to navigate through life more freely and without the sense of a problem hanging over you.
