When this happens we can find ourselves regretting some of the choices we've made. In the end, it doesn’t necessarily matter why we made the decisions we have made, but only how we resolve them with ourselves and the people we are closest to. It's useful to remember none of us are perfect and making choices free from mistakes is not realistic. Remembering that any pressure to do so is likely to be rooted in the past.

When we make a choice to act and behave in a certain way, we are in-acting the universal law of choice. This is a fundamental law to our experience here on Earth and is enacted from within the human form.
Making choices we later come to regret normally take place at an unconscious level. How often have we asked ourselves why did I do that? Or how was it I have become this way? Or even I don't recognise myself anymore?
Common practices that people regret often include drinking, substance abuse and overeating. Emotions following these practices make people feel guilty, angry and self-loathing, which can lead to emotional pain or depression. Some people may even manifest illness due to the pains relating to the past and it's mistakes. As the emotional energy relating to such experiences, can get trapped within the wider bioenergy field that surrounds and resides within our bodies.
Let me ask you, how can you expect to feel confident when you have regrets about the past?
The conflicts that can ensue from a persons perceived past mistakes can have an overall negative effect on a persons psychology. It is the practice of letting go and knowing how to let go that is crucial to healing the mistakes of the past. When you are free from the burdens that you carry, you are able to become aligned your true self. By being clearer in your thinking, you are able to uphold a clearer and more defined sense of self. One that is not based on the reactions you have made to experiences of the past. When you are able to let go of this, you are able to be less emotionally lead and more intuitively directed. This will allow you to connect to your intuitive heart centre and is a part of your wider spiritual development. It can even lead to you being able to connect and channel your higher self.
As a starting point you must deal with the physical 3-D experience. Which resides within the thought form. These include past present and future thoughts.
